this week in pictures.

we finally dedicated the necessary 10 minutes to updating the template, name, and description of our blog.  so much has transpired in the few short years this blog has been up and running, it was finally time to revise the appearance of our family blog so it's more reflective of where we stand now.  different appearance, same blog!  and all the old entries are still in the archives.

it has come to my attention that some of our loyal readers check this blog far more often than it gets updated...in fact, for some dear ones, it's the go-to for updates about our lives.  while writing long entries more frequently would be challenging (especially because we have ANOTHER blog up and running!), if a picture's worth a thousand words, we should certainly be able to find the time to post photos more often.

the kids are in such a beautiful, fun, joyous stage right now...every day i find myself wanting to hold on to it, to freeze time.  so more pictures, even of our day to day activities, will help us to hold on to these treasured little memories as we share them with you.

on the needles:  a scrap yarn sweater for bean while i eagerly await my new pattern books.

apple season, in all its glory (and with bean's new teeth, her first bites of fresh apples).

 

 the wonderful and fleeting ability to sleep any place and any time you feel tired.

so much laughter, including reese's first real belly laughs.
